Our Story
Named after a beloved grandmother. Built from a promise made in rural Manda. Now serving communities across Prayagraj, Mirzapur, and Kaushambi.
Where It Started
It was supposed to be a simple medical camp in Manda village, Prayagraj. Two friends wanting to give back to the community. But what we witnessed changed the trajectory of our lives.
Patient after patient came forward with deteriorating vision—cataracts clouding their sight, glaucoma silently stealing their peripheral vision, diabetic retinopathy threatening blindness. Conditions that were entirely treatable. Yet they had been living with progressive vision loss for years.
The reasons were always the same: the nearest eye hospital was in the city, 30-40 km away. The bus fare, the lost day of work, the navigation of an unfamiliar healthcare system—it all seemed impossible. Many couldn't afford the travel, let alone the treatment. Others didn't realize their vision could be saved.
We saw elderly farmers who couldn't work their fields anymore. Grandmothers who couldn't see their grandchildren's faces. Daily wage workers forced into dependence. The most vital of human senses—sight—was being lost to logistical barriers, not medical limitations.
That day, standing in that village, we made a decision: if they can't come to the city for eye care, we'll bring world-class eye care to them.
"The greatest barrier to healthcare isn't always medical—it's distance, cost, and awareness. We decided to eliminate all three."
A proven model for accessible rural eye care
Step 1
We conduct free eye camps in villages, bringing complete screening equipment and trained staff. No patient needs to travel to the city for initial diagnosis.
Step 2
Comprehensive eye examination using modern diagnostic equipment. Every patient receives a thorough evaluation regardless of ability to pay.
Step 3
Patients requiring surgery are transported from their village to our hospital at no cost. We eliminate the travel barrier completely.
Step 4
NABH-certified care using advanced phaco equipment. For eligible patients under Ayushman Bharat or DBCS, everything is free—surgery, medicines, food, follow-up.
Step 5
Regular follow-ups and post-operative care. We ensure patients achieve the best possible outcomes and maintain their restored vision.
