How a free eye camp works
- 1. You request a camp — a Pradhan, school, NGO or company gathers 50+ people in the community.
- 2. We bring the camp to you — our team arrives with equipment and trained staff to screen for cataract, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.
- 3. Free treatment & surgery — those who need surgery are brought to our hospital, free of cost, with transport arranged.
For a villager who has never seen an eye doctor, a camp at their doorstep is the difference between sight and blindness.

Indumati Netralaya runs free village eye camps throughout Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), Mirzapur and Kaushambi districts — reaching tehsils and villages including Meja, Karchana, Phulpur, Handia, Soraon, Bara and Koraon, as well as towns across Mirzapur and Kaushambi. For many rural families, a camp at their doorstep is the first eye examination of their lives.
At every camp our team screens for cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, distributes free spectacles to those with refractive errors, and identifies patients who need surgery — who are then brought to our NABH-certified hospital and operated free of cost under Ayushman Bharat or our charitable trust.
