How can the surgery really be free?

It's a fair question — and here's the honest answer. Your care is funded three ways, so eligible families pay nothing.

Government schemes

Free surgery comes through Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and the District Blindness Control Society (DBCS). The government pays for surgery, lens, and follow-ups for eligible patients — directly to the hospital. UP government employees, pensioners and their families are treated cashless under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana.

Indumati Charitable Trust

Indumati Netralaya is a unit of IndiServe Healthcare Pvt Ltd. Alongside it, Indumati Charitable Trust brings in CSR support from companies and donors to pay for care for those who fall outside the schemes — no one is turned away for inability to pay.
