Can UP government employees get cashless eye surgery at Indumati Netralaya?
Yes. Indumati Netralaya is empanelled under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, and hospitals on PM-JAY are part of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana. If you are a serving or retired Uttar Pradesh government employee, or a dependent family member, bring your State Health Card and Aadhaar card. It covers the same eye procedures here as Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY. Call +91 8081565880.
What is the scheme?
The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana is the Uttar Pradesh government's cashless treatment scheme for its own employees and pensioners. It was launched in July 2022. Instead of paying the hospital and claiming the money back later, the patient shows their State Health Card and the treatment is settled directly between the hospital and the scheme.
Indumati Netralaya has been empanelled under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY since December 2024, and that empanelment brings the state employees scheme with it. We are NABH Entry Level certified.
Who is eligible?
- Serving Uttar Pradesh government employees
- Retired Uttar Pradesh government employees (pensioners)
- Their dependent family members, as defined by the scheme, such as spouse and children
You need a Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Health Card. Serving employees apply through their department or office. Pensioners apply through the treasury that pays their pension.
What does it cover here?
At Indumati Netralaya the scheme covers the same eye procedures as Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, cashless on your State Health Card. That includes:
- Cataract surgery (phaco and SICS)
- Glaucoma surgery
- Diabetic retinopathy laser treatment
- Squint correction
- Pterygium surgery
- DCR surgery (blocked tear duct)
Tests before surgery, medicines, the lens and follow-up care are included, as they are under PM-JAY. Our scheme desk handles the paperwork with you before a date is fixed.
The first eye checkup follows our normal hospital rule: it is free for everyone above 50 and ₹100 for others. At our village eye camps the checkup is free for everyone.
What to bring
