Who runs Indumati Netralaya?
Indumati Netralaya is a unit of IndiServe Healthcare Pvt Ltd. Indumati Charitable Trust is a separate body that supports the hospital by bringing in CSR support, which pays for free operations for patients who are not covered by a government scheme and cannot pay.
Checkups and fees
Is the eye checkup free?
At our village eye camps the checkup is free for everyone, of any age. At the hospital it is free for everyone above 50, and ₹100 for others.
Do I need an appointment?
No. You can walk in during hospital hours. Calling or messaging on WhatsApp first helps reduce your waiting time.
Cataract surgery
How much does cataract surgery cost in Prayagraj?
Packages start from ₹4,999 with a standard lens. Foldable lens packages start at ₹9,500, and imported and multifocal lens options go up to ₹85,000. The full price list is on our services page. Surgery is free for eligible patients under Ayushman Bharat and DBCS.
Is cataract surgery free under Ayushman Bharat?
Yes. If you have an Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) card, cataract surgery is completely free at Indumati Netralaya, which is an empanelled hospital. Bring your Ayushman card and Aadhaar for verification.
How long does cataract surgery take?
The surgery itself takes 15–20 minutes. With preparation and observation afterwards, plan for about 2–3 hours at the hospital. Most patients go home the same day.
What documents are needed for Ayushman Bharat eye treatment?
Your Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) card or ABHA ID, your Aadhaar card, and a recent passport-size photograph. Our team helps with the verification.
Government schemes
Which schemes can I use at Indumati Netralaya?
Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and the District Blindness Control Society (DBCS) for free surgery, and the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Employees Cashless Scheme for serving and retired UP government employees and their families. See our schemes page.
Is there a card for DBCS?
No. DBCS (District Blindness Control Society) has no card. Bring your Aadhaar and your BPL or ration card, and our scheme desk will check whether you are eligible.
I am a UP government employee or pensioner. Is my treatment covered?
Yes. Under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Employees Cashless Scheme, treatment is cashless on your State Health Card, and it covers the same eye procedures here as Ayushman Bharat. Read more.

How do I request a free eye camp in my village?
Call us on +91 80815 65880 or use our contact page. We run free eye camps across Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Kaushambi districts, and our team brings the equipment to your village.
What happens at a free eye camp?
Our team screens 150+ people per camp for cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors and other eye conditions. Patients who need surgery are referred to our hospital for free or subsidised treatment.

What eye treatments are available at Indumati Netralaya?
Cataract surgery (phaco and SICS), glaucoma care, diabetic retinopathy treatment, children’s eye care including squint, eye tests and spectacles, and an on-site optical store with affordable frames and lenses.
Do you provide free spectacles?
At our village eye camps we give free spectacles to patients who need them. At the hospital, our optical store offers affordable frames and lenses.

How can my company partner with Indumati Netralaya for CSR?
