Where we are, and where you are
Phulpur is a tehsil north-east of Prayagraj city, across the Ganga. Indumati Netralaya is on Meja Road, Near HDFC Bank, Opposite D.G.S Marriage Hall, Meja, Prayagraj. We say plainly that the hospital is in Meja rather than in Phulpur — but for Phulpur town, Sahson and the villages around the IFFCO township, it is the nearest NABH Entry Level certified eye hospital, and it is a great deal closer than Prayagraj city.
Free surgery under Ayushman Bharat
If you hold an Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) card, or qualify under the UP DBCS scheme, your eye operation is free — the surgery, the lens and the follow-up visits. This applies wherever in the district you live. Bring the card and your Aadhaar; our team checks eligibility before anything is scheduled, so you know where you stand before you commit to a date.
Spectacles and contact lenses are not covered by the scheme. We say so here rather than at the counter.

- Glaucoma (kala motiabind) — diagnosis, pressure monitoring and treatment
- Squint (bhengapan) in children and adults

- Eye testing and spectacles
Getting here from Phulpur
From Phulpur, the route runs through Prayagraj city and then south along Meja Road. It is a longer journey than for our nearer tehsils, so call first and we will schedule you so the visit is done in one day. We are open 9am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
