Where we are, and where you are
Soraon is a tehsil north of Prayagraj city, across the Ganga. Indumati Netralaya is on Meja Road, Near HDFC Bank, Opposite D.G.S Marriage Hall, Meja, Prayagraj. We say plainly that the hospital is in Meja rather than in Soraon — but for Soraon town and the villages towards Nawabganj and Mau Aima, it is the nearest NABH Entry Level certified eye hospital, and it is a great deal closer than Prayagraj city.
Free surgery under Ayushman Bharat
If you hold an Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) card, or qualify under the UP DBCS scheme, your eye operation is free — the surgery, the lens and the follow-up visits. This applies wherever in the district you live. Bring the card and your Aadhaar; our team checks eligibility before anything is scheduled, so you know where you stand before you commit to a date.
Spectacles and contact lenses are not covered by the scheme. We say so here rather than at the counter.

Getting here from Soraon
From Soraon, come through Prayagraj city and then south on Meja Road. Call first and we will schedule the checkup and any surgery so the travelling is done once. We are open 9am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday. Call +91 80815 65880 before you travel — it costs nothing and it means you are not making the journey on a day that does not suit.
